Since the evolution of mankind, a lot of people are interested to know the development of the same. Hence, it is quite curious to know about a human body and genes. The study of human genes is based on DNA which are a tiny part of the human body. In another language it is also known as the blue print of concerned person’s physic and life. Every day on 25th of April DNA day is celebrated. James Watson, Maurice Wilkins, Francis Crick, Rosalind Franklin and their colleagues were the first people to discover the structure of DNA on the base of lot of research and tests done by them in the laboratory. Their papers were published in a journal called Nature. In the year 2003 they declared that their project was very close to complete. And therefore they can reach to the closest of one’s natural development and can also know the base of the human life from where it has grown.

The day is celebrated in honor

DNA day is although not celebrated at very huge level, but has its own importance as this day is celebrated to honor the people who have find out the concept. There are people who are associated with biology and research, for them this day holds a great significance. The tracking of DNA has been considered as the biggest achievement in the history of human race. The full form of DNA is Deoxyribo Nucleic Acid. By this, one can know about its hereditary material and genetic instructions. The segments of DNA carry genetic information called genes. These genes are studied for a number of reasons as per the research projects of various scientists. Nowadays the DNA test is also useful in many criminal as well as other cases also.
