International Yoga Day, a day to know about health
The Yoga is a part of Indian culture for a number of years. There are many Yogis who have taken this art of keeping mind and body fitter to a new height. One should exercise daily in order to keep oneself fit. Yoga is also known as one of the best exercise in the era of Gym and Aerobics and in fact more popular also than both of them. Now a day people are becoming more concern about their health. That’s why 21st of June is declared as International Yoga Day. India’s Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi made special effort to know the people of the world to know the importance of Yoga. The origin of Yoga took place in India. It’s a method by which one can gain mental, physical and spiritual fitness. This day was first observed world over on 21st of June in 2015. It is said that near about 35985 people did Yoga together on International Yoga Day including Narendra Modi. It is a proud moment for any Indian to be a part of such event. It is the first time when UN body implemented the proposal of any country in 90 days.
International Yoga Day is an even which is celebrated globally. It is observed that more than 170 counties celebrate this day. People organize training camps, competitions and many other activities in order to make people aware of the importance of Yoga in their life. People celebrate this day to make people know how Yoga can help them to keep themselves fit and fine. Yoga helps them to Meditate and have a peaceful mind. It also helps to release stress and spread feeling of peace all over the world and to make them come closer to nature.
