Jawaharlal Nehru Jayanti, let’s remember freedom fighter on the nation
Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru was born on 14Th November 1889. He was the son of Motilal Nehru and Swaroop Rani. His father was an eminent lawyer of his era. He was the person who gave him the name of Jawaharlal Nehru. Jawaharlal Nehru was a brilliant child. He was very fond of young kids. Since childhood he was very kind hearted and was indulged in various types of social services. He played an important role in the independence of India. He was the first Prime Minister of Free India. Every year his birth anniversary is celebrated with full enthusiasm among kids. This day is also known as Bal Diwas or children’s Day. Not only was freedom fighter, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru also a very good writer and a powerful leader as well as a good administrator. His books ‘Discovery of India’ and ‘Glimpses of world History’ is among best sellers. He also applied the Panchshila Siddhant and five years plan for the development of India in those days. He was more focused on the improvement of village and people in villages which he considered as the backbone of our nation. He believed in hard work and also gave the slogan Aram haram Hai.
